SCHEDULED Class Descriptions

A beginner friendly vinyāsā style class (typically led as one pose per breath) we'll begin by experiencing invigorating yet meditative class. Physical benefits of vinyāsa classes have the benefit of being lightly aerobic, building core strength as well as proprioception (the ability to gauge your body in space).
The last 10 minutes of class we'll dedicate to rest and relaxation with a combination of floor work, breathing exercises and guided relaxation.
Come for all or part.

A review of foundational forms in a supportive environment. Learn to adapt postures for your unique bone structure.
This class will focus on postures typically found in Suryā Namaskār (Sun Salutataions) as well as tips and tricks to improve your experience in balancing postures.
Tailored to beginners. Appropriate for any level.

A flowing Vinyāsā style sequence that gently gets your blood moving. Vinyāsā style classes typically are one pose per breath guiding you through an invigorating yet meditative class.
Explore a fun way to build full body strength and reduce excess stress and tension. We’ll finish with a short full body relaxation.
Each week classes will mix in small variations to help maintain curiousity.

Learn and explore breath work techniques (Pranāyamā) in a refreshing sequence that focuses on your core, chest and back.
The benefits of breathwork may include reduced anxiety, improved energy and a sense of wellbeing. Excellent for anyone who uses their voice a lot!
Students can expect to take away techniques for relaxation that can be used whenever a breather is needed!
Suitable for any level!

A relaxed pace set sequence that fosters relaxation and stress relief. This sequence of primarily standing postures that focus on your lateral (side) as well as lower body.
The original sequence created in the 1970's by the Kripalu Yoga Centre, we'll explore this flow with a focus on self reflection + exploration.
Students can expect some deviation in our postures introduced in our set sequence over weeks to deepen their connection to themselves and their practice.
Optional Props:
- 1 or 2 blankets, towels or extra sweaters (for cushioning and padding)
- a chair, block, firm thick pillow or stack of books (hardcover works better generally)
- Access to a wall or desk for extra support.
No props? No problem :). Variations without props will be cued.
How to Join
You can register via the online portal here.
All classes delivered via Zoom. Cameras optional. A link to the zoom class will be emailed to you 30 minutes prior to class start.
